My mom once told me that finding a rock with a circle all of the way around is good luck and ever since, I’ve loved coming across them once in a while on beach strolls. So it was almost overwhelmingly wonderful to step on the beach in Pacifica and see one every few steps. A good sign, I’d like to think, for this time in California.
